Jason and I met through Yahoo Personals. I had only been on the dating website for about two days when Jason came across my profile ironically while he was on the internet looking for things to buy.  What a shock.

He sent me a message asking me to call him.  He was actually talking to me through a friends profile.  Imagine that he was speaking to me through someone else’s picture.  He decided that it may be best to cough up the $29.95 and purchase his own profile so that he could show me pictures of himself.  Immediately I got the second email from him and saw the pictures of him.  He asked me to call him right away.  I called.  He made me laugh.  He asked me to dinner.  The minute I saw him in person,  I was captivated.  This was the just the beginning a very crazy life that we were about to embark on.

We made a second date for the following Saturday night – just two days later,  That night he took me for a ride on his Harley.  We visited multiple different friends at their homes.  He introduced me as his girlfriend to his friends, and then we went back to his house – and he asked me to marry him.

I thought this was the craziest thing I had ever heard of.  Especially because my divorce had just become final only 22 days prior to this.  Shockingly, I thought…why not?  I accepted his proposal.

We were married in Lake Tahoe 10 days later.

Everyone thought we were both crazy.
