Brick by Brick

Posted by Seana under BLOG

Isn’t there some unwritten rule that after 4:00 pm on a Sunday afternoon is the time when you shouldn’t have to be doing anything? What better way to end the day than to haul bricks from point A to point B? Getting our kids out of the house for even an hour is a struggle.  They stayed out for 2 hours today riding bikes, motorized scooters and shot hoops.  They thought after all that exercise that they  would cruise for the remainder of the day inside with the Disney Channel or some form of video game.

My crazy husband had something different in mind. Why not have our three kids (ages 15, 9 and 7) transport the ton of bricks he just purchased at Home Depot. to the proper destination in the backyard?   “Kill two birds with one stone”  he would say…”they get the exercise and I get my bricks moved”.

UPDATE

The Kramer picture sold yesterday for $20.  It took 16 days for someone to come and take this off our hands.  That is a long time considering the fact that my crazy husband sells something very quickly once he places it on the internet.

Michael Kramer Richards

March 2, 2010

In its time, this would have been really cool to see hanging in a bachelor’s house.  In 2007, when I met my crazy husband, this was hanging in the corner of his living room.   When I first saw it all I could say was ”Seriously”?

We are both huge fans of Seinfeld.  We love it when Kramer comes sliding through Jerry’s front door gyrating his body all over the place.  I mean, who doesn’t love Kramer?  We all love Kramer!

It’s Michael Richards that the general population is sadly disappointed with.  It has only been three years since his highly publicized shameful racist remarks during his stand-up routine at the Laugh Factory.  It’s a shame.  I would have lived with this picture hanging in our house without any objections to it.  My husband loves this picture and he hated taking it off the wall when I told him that it was extremely politically incorrect to own it much less have it hanging anywhere.

Now it is listed for sale on craigslist.  My husband sells things all the time on craigslist.  He is known for being very successful at selling anything quickly.

He can’t sell this thing to save his life.
